The Vein Institute of Toronto Approach to Surface Laser (for Facial Veins)

We offer you a free personal consultation with Dr. Sanjoy Kundu, medical director of The Vein Institute of Toronto and Medical Aesthetic Clinic. Based on a comprehensive history and physical examination that focuses on the possible causes of vein disorders, along with a detailed venous history, we determine a treatment plan to remove facial veins (telangiectasia).
Once the consultation is completed, Dr. Kundu produces a personalized treatment plan tailored to your individual needs and goals. One copy of your treatment plan is for you, and a second copy is kept on your chart throughout your treatment period to ensure that your goals are respected and fulfilled.
We believe in meticulous attention to detail, including sterility and hygiene to ensure your safety and that you receive the highest quality of care.
To view beneath the surface of the skin, we use the Syris 300. To treat the surface veins, we use the D940 SkinPulse S laser. During treatment, the skin in the area being treated is cooled by the Zimmer Cryo Cool 6 air cooler, eliminating pain and damage.
What can you expect?
During your consultation, we will be happy to tell you more about your treatment, possible side effects, and what results you can expect. Facial veins can often be removed in a single treatment. Our physician will review your needs with you, especially if more than one treatment may be required.
